Thomas Partey in line to start for Atletico Madrid against Getafe on Sunday

Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey has given his head coach, Diego Simeone a selection headache after his impressive performance in Atletico Madrid's 2-1 victory against Juventus.

Diego Simeone's only dilemma for the first line up could be choosing between Marcos Llorente and Partey in midfield.

Although the former Tema Youth star had a personal training for two weeks and has only had a couple of sessions with the group, he produced a solid performance against the Old Lady after his return from his holiday after participating in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Atletico will face Getafe in their 2019/20 campaign opener on Sunday when the Argentine tactician will be asked to choose between the two midfielders.
