The Snr Minister Gets His Masters at GWU, USA

Henry David Thoreau said, ?Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.? This truism was fulfilled on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 when Justin Kojok aka Snr Minister graduated from George Washington University with Master of Science in Information Systems Technology (MSIST). Talking to Justin after the graduation he reflected on his childhood days when he wanted to go to school but was not allowed to, because his big brother was in school already and there was no need to have two kids in the same house going to school. ?I am very happy today and on the same token, very sad that many people have been denied the opportunity to reach for their dreams? he said, almost sobbing. This degree opens doors of opportunities for Justin to pursue IT consultancy career, while continuing to give back to others, thus fulfilling his purpose here on earth.

A man of noble character, Justin was joined by friends and family who came to show their love and support at his graduation in Washington DC, USA. The Honorable J Y Labik, the only independent MP (senator) of the Republic Ghana, flew all the way from Ghana to show his love and support. His niece Mabel also flew from Ghana to represent his family. Of course Justin?s American family and church members were there to support him. Other friends and family traveled from Michigan, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA and throughout the Virginia and Maryland metro area.

The graduation party was held at the Senior Activity Center in Leesburg, VA. There was a lot of delicious food, lots of love and laughter blended with music and dancing. This was a celebration to be remembered. As people came together out of their common bond of love for Justin, new friendships were established, old ones were rekindled and memories were made.
Congrats, Snr Minister!
