Celebration of Life for nana Wiafe Akenteng, 2nd Asantefuohene of Toronto was held at the Apostle’s Continuation Church on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Visitation was held on Friday April 13, 2012 at Demarco Funeral Home, 8003 Weston Road in Vaughan. Church service was also held at Ghana Calvary Methodist United Church in the afternoon from 1-3 p.m.

The funeral service was on Saturday, April 14, 2012 where Ghanaians trooped in their numbers to mourn Nana Wiafe Akenten. Nananom from many cities in US were in attendance.

Damirifa due, Nana. May you rest in peace. Toronto will miss you dearly.
