That Which Atheists Fear And Hate

We have a lively group of atheists, infidels and skeptics living among us. They’re constantly throwing rocks at Christians and their religion. Rarely a week passes without comments lashing out against those who hold the faith they have rejected.

Unbelievers are trying hard to force Christians, their faith and their values from the public life and forum of our nation. They are incensed that some people(disciples of Christ) are willing to stand up and fight back for the preservation of that which they hold dear. It infuriates the godless when the godly speak out and sometimes one gets the impression that those who deny God would forbid Christians from publicly expressing their point of view if only they had the power to do so.

We are witnessing a clash between two contending faith systems: one is faith in the God of the Bible, the other, faith in man and human philosophy. *Christians believe in a living God, Jehovah *Christians believe Jesus of Nazareth to be God’s Son and their Saviour. *Christians promote things sacred, pure, and beneficial for society. *They are taught to respect the lives, rights and property of others. *Christians do good to all men including atheists. They build hospitals, orphanages, Schools and teach people to live in clean environments. *Christians promote respect for government and law and the officials thereof. *Christians tend not to support politicians or causes that despise and make war against their faith, abhors oppression of state and tyrannical rulers. *Christians pray to their God and work diligently for the safety and welfare of all peoples. *Christians view their children as a gift from God and thus wish to raise them according to his divine standard. This includes, being good citizens, and good neighbours. While Christians recognize that there are many false gods, saviours, books, and religions, they still believe in the right of every soul to have freedom of religion. They may disagree with one’s choice, but believe-- and the Bible teaches-- that every individual should be allowed to choose what he believes and the religion he wants to practice. Let every soul be given the opportunity to read, study, learn and compare all religions. Then, based on the truth, the facts, let him choose which one is of God and which one he will follow. That is freedom. Anything else is slavery, and slavery of the soul is the worst slavery of all.

Those arguing Christianity is a whiteman’s religion should know that, Christianity started in the Middle East just like Islam did.

About 70 years ,the communist rulers of the Soviet Empire laboured to build a society without God or Christianity. It came to a sorry end. God forbid wicked men ever try such an experiment in our Country.
