Thank you for who I am today - Bawumia drafts emotional birthday message for his mum

Vice President, Dr. Bawumia has taken to his Facebook page to express gratitude to his mother as she celebrates her 80th birthday today.

Describing her as a pillar who has played a pivotal role in his life, he emphasized that indeed, he could not have achieved the great feats he has enjoyed over the years but for his mother’s investments and guidance.

He also described his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia as caring and supportive, adding that, she has always been on the lookout for him and his siblings.

He said "I am who I am today because of the foundation she and my late father laid for me. I cannot thank her enough. Maame still plays a pivotal role in my life. Her insights are piercing. A mother's love is truly special"

Dr.Bawumia also asked for God's blessings upon Hajia's life, as well as long life and good health.
