Terror alert: Ensure safety of Ghanaians - Okudzeto charges government

Following the alert by the UK government of possible terror attack on Ghana, foreign nationals have been advised to avoid certain areas such as shopping malls, government buildings, and public areas such as bars, restaurants, hotel.

They also warned Westerners to always take with them a photocopy of their passports for easy identification.

These measures was indicated as some parts of African have recently been affected with terrorist attacks.

Also, reacting to the alert, Minority spokesperson on Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has charged the government to take immediate steps to assure the safety of Ghanaians.

“I think that it is important for the Ghanaian government to respond to this if there is a looming terrorist attack. If there is, are citizens being alerted and what is being done to ensure that we are safe,” Hon. Ablakwa said.
