Workers of Tema Flour Mills on Wednesday 5 June agitated over unpaid salaries and other incentives.

The workers claim they have been unpaid for about six months and have, therefore, called on the CEO of the company, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, who is also the current Minister of Agriculture, to intervene.

The workers have issued a two-week ultimatum to Dr Afriyie Akoto and management of the company to pay them all arrears and other incentives due them.

The workers were clad in red armbands wielding placards, but the police were there in their numbers to ensure peace.
