Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, who contested the National Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has become the object of ridicule for former Deputy Communications Minister, Kwakye Ofosu.
Kwakye Ofosu described Dr. Richard Amoako Baah as a talkative and not a doer, who managed to secure just 18 votes at the NPP national elections despite his numerous trips to media houses. The former Deputy Communications Minister teased the political scientist for ranting on radio instead of engaging in ‘field work’ to win over delegates.
Dr. Amoako Baah was heard on several radio stations saying that he was unable to embark on a flamboyant campaign like his competitors because he is broke.
Throwing a subtle jab at the political scientist, Kwakye Ofosu wrote that “then there is Dr Amoako Baah who proves so clearly that there is a world of difference between talkatives and doers”.
Acting Chairman of the party, Freddie Blay polled 3,021 votes ahead of Steven Ntim in a two horse race contest which had Dr Amoako Baah trailing with a paltry 18 votes.
