TTU lectures suspended following directive from the president of the republic of Ghana

After a national address held on the 15th of March, 2020, the president of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ordered for the closure of all public and private schools within the country till further notice in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Following this instruction, all academic work on the Takoradi Technical University campuses has been suspended with immediate effect.

In a public address issued on Monday 16th March, the management of the school pointed out that there will be virtual learning through the use of ICT in order to keep academic work going.

Lecturers are expected to upload their notes and other materials through the Director of ICT for transmission to students.

Management also assured the university community, parents, stakeholders and the general public to remain calm, stay safe and follow all safety measures put in place by the University as well as other safety protocols published by the Ghana Health Services and the Ministry of Health to help contain the spread of the Covid-19 infection and respond to any emergency.

A new date for the commencement of academic work will be communicated to the student populace in further developments.
