Police Chief Inspector John Amponsah, Aworowa Station Officer, told=

the Ghana News Agency that at about 1930 hours, he got a report that all the streetlights and lights on the school campus had been put off and that th= e students were on a rampage against the headmaster, Nana Owusu Kokor and s= ome teachers.

He said he quickly deployed police personnel to the scene but seeing=

the tense atmosphere on the campus, he decided to call for reinforcement=
