Relationship Manager
Position Overview:
As a Relationship Manager, you will be the primary custodian of a portfolio of the bank’s most significant clients.
You will be entrusted with developing and executing strategic relationship plans to maximize client value, drive revenue growth across our suite of products, and uphold the highest standards of risk management. This is a senior role with a direct impact on the division's profitability and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive client strategies to deepen relationships and expand wallet share.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth by proactively cross-selling our full spectrum of corporate banking products, including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Lending solutions.
• Champion the adoption of our digital and transaction banking platforms to enhance client engagement and operational efficiency.
• Lead the credit origination process, from structuring and analysis to the meticulous monitoring of facilities, ensuring strict adherence to covenants and credit policy.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, conducting strategic reviews to ensure exceptional satisfaction and service delivery.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Relationship Officers, fostering a high-performance team environment.
• Ensure all portfolio activities comply with KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an ACIB or equivalent professional qualification is highly advantageous.
• At least two (2) years of progressive experience in a corporate or commercial banking relationship management role.
• Proven expertise in complex credit analysis, financial modeling and deal structuring.
• A demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Exceptional abilities in negotiation, strategic thinking, and executive-level communication.
• A client-centric mindset with the ability to build trusted, long-term partnerships.
Relationship Officer
Position Overview:
The Relationship Officer is a critical support role, essential for the seamless management of our client portfolio.
You will work closely with Relationship Managers to ensure superior client service, support revenue initiatives, and maintain the integrity of the credit and monitoring processes.
This role is an excellent platform for developing a career in relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide robust support to Relationship Managers in all aspects of portfolio management and client service delivery.
• Actively contribute to revenue generation by identifying cross-sell opportunities and tracking product penetration.
• Monitor account performance meticulously, identifying and addressing income leakages and optimizing deposit balances.
• Assist in the preparation of credit proposals, annual reviews, and the ongoing monitoring of facility covenants.
• Maintain impeccable credit files, client call reports, and financial documentation to the highest audit standards.
• Conduct client visits and internal meetings, documenting insights and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
• Serve as a key liaison with internal product and operations teams to resolve client inquiries promptly.
• Guarantee full compliance with KYC and all regulatory protocols for assigned accounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in a corporate banking, financial analysis, or client-facing sales support role.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and banking products.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and client-service oriented approach.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
