Stock index inches up

Accra, Nov. 10, GNA - The Accra bourse inched up in weak trading on Wednesday as bearish sentiments continued to dominate the market. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, was up by 0.85 points to 6,898.14 points from 6,897.29 points.

There was only one price change, another 10-cedi gain by CFAO at 200 cedis.

Change for the year was up at 94.13 per cent from 94.10 per cent on Monday.

Total shares traded more than doubled to 220,700 cedis from Monday's 95,400 shares.

Market capitalization ended at 97,249.10 billion cedis from 3,580.79 million issued shares.
