Stay out of examination malpractices - BECE candidates cautioned

The District Education Director of Ellembelle in the Western Region, Mrs. Mabel Frances Williams has advised candidates who would been taken their Basic Education Certificate Examination(B.E.C.E) this year May 2017 to pass well for easy admission into secondary schools in Ghana.

She made this known to the candidates in the Ellembelle District when she and her entourage paid a courtesy call on the candidates at the Hassaniya Islamic Junior High School(J.H.S) at Aiyinasi on May 30, 2017.

She therefore admonished the candidates to take their studies seriously since they are the future leaders of the nation.

She further advised them to desist from examination malpractices to avoid any arrest and cancellation of papers. She added; "A candidate that will be caught in an act of any examination malpractices would be dealt with accordingly"

The District Education Director cautioned teachers who have developed the habit of engaging the candidates in examination malpractices to desist from it to avoid any form of embarrassment.

At Hassaniya Islamic J.H.S, the Director made it known to the parents that they should encourage their wards to learn hard to bring prestige to their homes and the school because the school is known among the best school in the district in terms of B.E.C.E past records.

The Director also advised the candidates who might not get the opportunity to further their secondary education to engage themselves in Technical and vocations training and devoid themselves from any deviant acts that would lead them into imprisonment. "Study hard and pass very well, respect others and I know with God, sky will be your limit, I wish you well", the Director told Hassaniya Islamic 2017 B.E.C.E candidates.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Abdulai Musah thanked the Ellembelle District Education Director and her entourage for their visit to the school and their words of exhortations they have offered to the candidates and teachers as a whole.

Mr. Abdulai Musah made it known to the Director that his teachers have prepared the candidates well without any discrimination. He also added that they punished the indiscipline candidates among with the rules and regulations in the school.

"With the adequate preparations given to the candidates, I know with Allah leading them, they will come out with better grades", the headmaster assured.

The parents expressed their profound appreciation to the teachers and the school management body for the care and assistance their awards have been offered.

Hassaniya Islamic J.H.S presented sixty-four (64) candidates to this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination which commences on Monday, June 5, 2017 with English language and Religious and Moral Education.
