Friday, August 17th, 2007

On behalf of the Ghanaian Doctors and Dentists Association of the UK (GDDA-UK) and friends and affiliates of GDDA-UK, I would like to extend my deepest shock and heartfelt sympathy to the Anyeitei family on the sudden and tragic death of the late Dr.Victoria Anyeitei, Consultant Paediatrician of St.Thomas’s Hospital, London, UK.

We are indeed saddened, by the terrible loss of Dr.Anyeitei and offer our most sincere condolences to her family and the department of paediatrics of St.Thomas’s Hospital. We are grateful for the lifelong dedication of a true public servant who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Dr. Anyeitei was a close friend to many members of the GDDA-UK, a committed Christian, friendly to all her colleagues, a brilliant paediatrician and indeed a good humble human being. Her vision, humanity and commitment as well as her remarkably kind and generous nature will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with the Anyeitei family during this time of grief.
