Students of the Saint Francis Girls Senior High School at Jirapa in the Upper West Region have been sensitized to stay focused towards achieving their dreams.

The girls during a one-day workshop organised by the Young African Great Mind, were motivated to remain focused while in school and not allow anything to stop them from becoming who they want to become in future.

Dean of school of engineering at the Wa Polytechnic and CEO of Spicy foodies Restaurant, Dr Hamidatu Darimani serves as a role model for a lot of young girls in the Upper West Region.

While interacting with the students, Dr Hamidatu has expressed worry that girls spend a lot of their time trying to impress people with their physical beauty which she said maybe important but irrelevant.

She said true beauty comes from within and that a beautiful person leaves love, kindness, generosity and good deeds in their way.

President of the Young African Great Mind, Christian Kwasi also challenged the girls to live to their full potential and that money should not stop any of them from realizing their potentials.

President of Dream Big Foundation,Kampi Laari Robert speaking on the sidelines said "most Youth today are vulnerable in a lot of circumstances including carrier choices and developing themselves".

Adding that, some of the girls who spoke to her expressed excitement about the impact of the program on them

"They are calling more of such organizations to come to their aid with more of such programmes" she said
