Special Cup: Dreams FC to go all out in Elmina on Sunday

Dreams FC will be hoping to turn things around on Sunday when they play as guests to Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium in the Normalisation Committee match-day seven clash.

Dreams FC have been far from impressive in the competition so far as they have been struggling to put the ball behind the net but this game is a must win if they are to get on track in the competition.

The first round encounter between the two clubs in midweek in Dawu ended goalless with Sharks goalkeeper Richard Attah proving to be the savior for his club with five superb saves.

Elmina Sharks have been resolute so far in the competition keeping more clean sheet than any other team though their front liners have been far from their best.

The game at Dawu on Wednesday was basically a midfield affair and it could be the same on Sunday with both clubs playing the same formation.

One player Dreams FC should keep an eye on if they are to leave Elmina unscathed as Benjamin Tweneboah as the pocket-sized attacker has been a phenomenon in all their home games.

Samuel Alabi who had a fantastic outing in midweek after returning from injury will be in the thick of affairs on Sunday. The nimble-footed schemer is the heartbeat of the Dreams FC team.

The Dreams FC attack will also see youngster Okudzeto starting as the lanky striker had an excellent game when he was introduced against Sharks in the second half on Wednesday.

On paper, Elmina Sharks look stronger than Dreams FC currently but if the “Still Believe” lads believe in themselves and what they can do, they can get something good from the game on Sunday.
