Sex scandal rocks NDP... party guru caught on tape

Even before it officially launches into mainstream Ghanaian politics, the National Democratic Party (NDP) is already swimming in an ocean of serious scandals.

This makes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) renegades an apology of the integrity and social justice, the very tenets they accuse the NDC government of lacking.

It would be expected that people who criticize and accuse others of wrongdoing would have a very high moral standard and integrity, but with some front line executive members of the NDP the opposite is true.

The Tide has listen to a tape recording that captures one of the vociferous elements of the NDP pestering a married woman with sexual advances.

Even though the woman told him she was married, the NDP kingpin who was once domiciled in the US of America lecturing, was adamant.

The woman who operates both a restaurant and supermarket around the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) in Accra suggested to the NDP man to discard his sexual advances and rather give her GHC 10,000 to enable her mobilize grass-root supporters for the NDP, an idea he agreed to, saying the money was not a problem at all but what he was really interested in was to have an amorous affair with her.

The NDP man went ahead to talk of the different styles of sex he wanted to have with the woman.

Painstaking investigations conducted by The Tide revealed that the NDP man sometimes calls her deep into the night when she would be in bed with her husband and on one of such occasions she had to give the phone to the husband to listen to the conversation.

Did he heed to the warning?

What actions did the woman's husband take? For all those answers don't miss the next edition. The Tide gathered that the NDP man who is an academic doctor first met the woman at a laundry close to IPS and the two became acquaintances.

He is said to have often told the woman of his bitterness with the NDC following how he was sidelined by the Mills' Administration having supported the party financially when they were in opposition.

The NDP is rumored to have been founded by former President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

They have not denied their involvement in the formation of the party. In fact according to Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR), they have appealed to her to lead the NDP and there are clear indications that she will be the candidate for the splinter party.
