A senior lecturer has been captured in the latest ‘sex for grades’ documentary suggesting to a female student to lock the door to his office, put out the light and kiss him for one minute.
The said documentary, produced by BBC Africa Eye which premiers today October 7, 2019, has several lecturers who capitalizes on the vulnerability of ‘failed’ female students and sexually harass them.
According to the teaser of the documentary that has already captured Dr. Paul Kwame Butakor a lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education of the School of Education and Leadership, University of Ghana wooing a female student, another in Nigerian appears to have beaten him to the act.
A senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and a former Sub- Dean of the University of Lagos, Dr Boniface Igbeneghu told a 17-year-old Senior High School (SHS) graduate who was seeking for admission into the university to pay for his services with the body.
“How old are you? 17 and you look very big like this? Do you know you are a beautiful girl? Do you know I am a pastor and I am in my fifties? What would shock you is that even at my age now if I want a girl of your age, a 17-year-old all I need is sweet tongue[talk] and put some money in her hand and get her”, he bragged.
In subsequent meetings with the prospective applicant, Dr Boniface was heard saying in the secret recording “lock the door, put off the light and kiss me for one minute”.
