A chaotic scene unfolded at the Kronum Afrancho Lorry Station in the Ashanti Region a mini van crashed into roadside containers and shops, leaving several people injured and causing extensive damage to property.
CCTV footage of the incident shared on social media on Friday, April 10, 2026, showed the vehicle, appearing to have lost control, before veering off the road.
"CTV footage from Kronum Afrancho Lorry Station in the Ashanti Region shows a mini van crashing into containers and shops, leaving several people injured and properties destroyed", CDR Africa reported on X.
It veered off the road and ploughed into structures occupied by traders and passengers at the busy lorry station, triggering panic.
The impact sent traders and road users scrambling for safety as the van tore through shops, destroying goods and property in its path.
