Sunday December 16, 2018 would go down as one of the great days in the lives of the children under the care of the Becky’s Foundation an orphanage located at Senya Beraku near Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana.

They said although donors and well-wishers had put smiles on the faces children in the past, the kind of genuine beams and cheerfulness that emanated from the over fifty boys and girls who were present was unprecedented.

Larry Acheampong, president of the SOA group assured the management that this gesture would not be the last but only to pave way for long-term collaboration.

Sense Of Adult (SOA) was created by Sabina Bentum, an Accra based businesswoman on 3rd December 2016 with like-minded individuals from all walks of life basically to socialize and share ideas.

Today, it has developed into an impact-driven Social Networking Group rallying support among its members to address societal needs.

During it's first anniversary in the year 2017, members of the group volunteered a blood donation exercise at the Korle-Bu Blood Bank.

This year, leadership embarked on a project that directly put smiles on the faces of the needy children at Becky's foundation.

The items donated to the home includes boxes of biscuits, boxes of indomie, bottles of liquid soap, bags of rice, packs of water, packs of toilet rolls, box of disinfectant, bags of detergent, packs of soft drinks, clothes and pharmaceutical products (100 doses of Wormbat dewormer and blood tonic courtesy Unichem Ghana Ltd.).

Administrator of the home, Samuel Barnes expressed his profound gratitude and encouraged the donors to honour their promise to maintain the new born relationship.

He also used the opportunity to thank the hardworking staff of Becky's foundation both home and abroad and edge them to continue their good works.

He concluded by calling on the visitors to also consider health screening for the sixty children of the home on their next visit.
