Senegal thrash Morocco 4-0

Senegal produced a devastating performance to sweep aside Morocco 4–0 and book their place in the final of the African U15 School Championship in Zimbabwe on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

The West Africans needed no settling-in period, as they stormed into a commanding 3–0 lead inside the first half, overwhelming a stunned Moroccan side that struggled to cope with the pace and intensity of Senegal’s attack.

Their dominance continued throughout the first half, with a fourth goal arriving in the 28th minute to complete a ruthless opening spell that effectively ended the contest before halftime.

Despite Morocco's attempts to regroup after the break, Senegal maintained control of possession, comfortably managed the game, and ensured there was no route back for the Atlas Lions.

Their defensive organisation matched their attacking sharpness, sealing a clean and emphatic victory.

Senegal went on to face Uganda in the final on Friday, April 11, 2026, after the Cranes edged Benin 4–3 on penalties in a tightly contested semi-final.

The final proved to be a tense and closely fought contest, with neither side able to find a breakthrough in regulation time as the match ended 0–0.

Senegal, however, held their nerve in the shootout, edging Uganda 5–4 on penalties to lift the U15 crown in Zimbabwe after coming so close the previous year.
