The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned maintenance works in the Accra East Region aimed at improving service delivery.

In a press release sighted by GhanaWeb, the company stated that the maintenance exercise will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The works will result in power outages in several areas, including Baatsona, Teshie township, GREDA Estate, Teshie Nungua, and industries along the Spintex Road.

Other affected communities include Teshie Agblezaa, Manet Estate, Kotoku, Medie, Blue Skies, Hebron, and surrounding areas.

Residents in parts of Tema will also experience outages due to faults in the network.

The affected areas include Bankuman, Abonko, U-Compound, Naval Base and Quarters, Adjetey Ansah, and nearby communities.
