Security man stabs prostitute

A security man, Richard Afum, 36, has been arrested by the Prestea Police in the Western Region for stabbing a prostitute, who demanded the payment of GH? 20 for her services.

Afum refused to pay the prostitute after having sex with her, triggering a confrontation between the two. When the prostitute refused to budge, Afum drew a dagger and stabbed the sex worker and took to his heels.

The prostitute, 33 [name withheld] recounted her ordeal to “He came to me on Sunday for business and I charged him GH? 20, which he obliged.

"However, after satisfying him all night, he refused to pay me [and] as I demanded my due, he stabbed me and ran away. My intestine gashed out and I was rushed to the hospital.”

Head of the Prestea Police Command, Superintendent Timothy Dassah confirmed the incident and told that the suspect was arrested at his hideout on Thursday, adding that, he will be processed for court on Monday.
