Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has named ex-WAFA prodigy Samuel Tetteh as the toughest forward he has faced in his career.

Frimpong and Tetteh clashed multiple times in the GPL and FA Cup during their times with Kotoko and WAFA respectively and it appears Tetteh had an impact on Frimpong.

Tetteh left WAFA for Austrian side Liefering in 2016 after a great season in the Ghana Premier League.

After a successful year with Liefering, Tetteh joined Red Bull Salzburg and is currently on loan at LASK Linz.

Frimpong, meanwhile left Kotoko for Guinean side AS Kaloum two years ago.

In an interview with Tru FM, Amos Frimpong eulogized Samuel Tetteh as gifted players who caused him headaches the few times they clashed.

"The only striker who made my work for me during Kotoko between WAFA is Samuel Tetteh. He is the toughest opponent I have met in my football career so far. He is a good player."
