Salaga South MP Zuwera Mohammed pays courtesy call on Mudor Kope after 2024 elections

The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, has paid a courtesy call on the people of Mudor Kope following the 2024 general election.

Addressing residents during the visit, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah emphasised that national development is meant for all citizens, which is why participating in elections is very important.

She commended the people of Mudor Kope for voting massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing the community as one that gave the party a significant margin of victory.

She assured the gathering that the NDC, now in government, has not become complacent after winning the elections.

According to her, the party remains vigilant and committed to fulfilling its responsibilities to the people.

She further stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will remain in opposition for a long time.

Zuwera added that it is the desire of the NDC that the NPP does not return to power, explaining that past experiences have shown that communities perceived as strongholds of the NDC are often neglected when the NPP is in government.

She noted that such communities are sometimes denied development projects on the basis of their voting patterns.

She further stressed that Mudor Kope is widely recognised as an NDC stronghold, a fact known across the country through election results.

She concluded by assuring the people that the NDC acknowledges their loyalty and will work diligently to ensure that the community benefits from the overwhelming support it has consistently given the party.
