'Sakawa' man jailed for impersonating Deputy Minister

Seidu Nurudeen, a 28-year-old man who paraded himself as the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and also the Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency to dupe others has been arrested. He credited Facebook accounts with the particulars of the two state officials.

Nurudeen however ran out of luck when he was busted by the MP and Minister who had him arrested by the Yendi Police and arraigned before court.

The court has handed a total of 32 months jail term with hard labour to the culprit. According to a report by mynewsgh.com, Seidu Nurudeen was found guilty by the court for defrauding by false pretense and was consequently jailed 20 months.
