SDA Church inaugurates Beposo District

Pastor Abankwah Amoakohene, President of Mountain View Ghana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) has called on Christians as children of God to live up to expectation.

He said in this time of socio-economic challenges, fear and cruelty facing the world as a whole, and Ghana in particular, Christians must show the way.

Pastor Amoakohene said this during the inauguration of the Beposo District of the church on Saturday, in the Sekyere Central district of the Ashanti Region.

He said it is important to be in the family of God and become a disciple of Jesus Christ because of the blessings and the unique privileges associated with it.

The pastor explained that the inauguration of the Beposo District is to break the administration of the church into smaller units for effective administration and to reach out to people in the hinter land.

Pastor Philip Owusu Ankomah, the District pastor said one of the challenges in the new District is lack of a mission house for the local pastor.

The Beposo District which was carved out of Nsuta District has seven churches including Beposo, Banko, Abaasua, Atwea, Asuaafu, Adutwam and Jansah.
