Rumour Of Rawlings' Move To Secret Location Dismissed

The office of former President Rawlings has denied reports that Flight Lieutenant Rawlings and his family have moved out of his official Ridge residence to an undisclosed area. The “Free Press” newspaper published in its Monday issue that the former President has moved to a secret location and only uses the Ridge acommodation to entertain visitors.

The report further alleged that the Rawlings’ decided to move because they they were afraid of their lives following the withdrawal of their military security guards.

The former President’s Public Affairs Officer, Nana Efua Essuah Mensah told JOYFM that Flt. Lt. Jerry Rawlings who is currently outside the country still lives at his Ridge residence with his family. She described as false reports that the former President has been making frequent visits outside Accra to secrete locations as alleged.
