“It doesn’t look good”, former President John Mahama has said of the corruption uncovered in investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Number 12 undercover documentary on Ghana football.

In a short promo clip of the yet-to-be premiered two-hour documentary, Mr Mahama said: “For many years, we’ve been wondering why the quality of our games keeps going down.

“Ghana was one of the greatest teams on the continent and internationally.

“This doesn’t look good, it doesn’t look good”.

In another promo clip, former UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, said: “Sometimes it takes a spark, just a spark and I think Anas has provided that spark for the whole edifice to blow up for people to wake up and say: ‘No more’”.

Also, Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in a similar promo clip, described Anas' work as "very relevant".

Anas will premiere the documentary which he did with the BBC on 6 June 2018.
