Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the people of Dagbon in the Northern Region should reward President Akufo-Addo in the upcoming 2020 elections by voting for him for restoring peace to the town.
According to the second Gentleman of the land, the people of the Savannah and North East Regions also owe the President a debt of gratitude for the creation of the two regions.
“Dagbon owes Nana Akufo-Addo a big debt of gratitude and that debt of gratitude should be paid in 2020 when Nana Akufo-Addo is seeking re-election. He gave us peace after 40 years of turmoil. The least we can do is to give him four more years as payment and thankfulness for what he has done to bring peace to Dagbon.”
“I say that in 2020 there will be other people who will be seeking our votes but for the people of Dagbon we will say to them they should relax and come back in 2024 for consideration,” the Vice President said when he joined the Bawumia Institute at its 23rd annual Quoranic ceremony in Tamale.
