Residents of Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly to get clean water - MCE assures

Ghana Water Company main supply pipe which got burst around Club 1000 in the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly for many years will soon be repaired said the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Aminu Mohammed Zakari

According to him, he has brought together a combined team of experts from Ghana water and ECG to resolve this perennial problem that has lingered for a very long time.

"This has been a major priority of the assembly as the burst pipe only supplies contaminated water to homes in and around the municipality" he said adding that his action to bring a lasting solution to the crisis is in line with the President’s vision of making Accra the cleanest city in Africa.

Interacting with the media on the development of the Municipality, Hon. Mohammed Zakari said,the contracted engineers have until Friday, 28th September, 2018 to find lasting solution to the challenge.

He also assured residence of his municipality that he will do everything within his mandate as Chief Executive to always protect their interest and safety.
