Report: Marseille fighting to sign Jordan Ayew

French giants Olympique Marseille are fighting to secure the services of Jordan Ayew who left the club a year and a half ago to play with Aston Villa.

Ayew has scored two goals in 17 games this season adding to the 8 goals he scored last season in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old was on the verge of returning to France last season, but a hitch in decision making meant the move was kept on the ice.

It now looks like the club is looking at the chances of signing the player who grew up playing in the French League.
