General Overseer of Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has expressed disappointment in the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) following the deaths of six young girls during the military recruitment screening exercise.
In a video shared on social media on November 16, 2025, Prophet Oduro stated that the armed forces had allowed Ghanaians to disrespect the institution due to what he described as "recklessness and selfishness."
According to him, the GAF knew the exact number of personnel it intended to recruit and should not have accepted so many applicants.
"The Armed Forces have given people the opportunity to blaspheme the institution. You are looking for four thousand people. So then the system should be capped at ten thousand. We block the portal. Case closed. We allow sixty thousand to come in when we want only four thousand," he said.

Prophet Oduro further insisted that the Ghana Armed Forces should refund the fees of all 60,000 applicants if they fail to recruit them. He warned that the blood of the six victims who died during the El-Wak stampede would be on the hands of the Army if refunds are not made.
"So then I stand on this altar and I say to the Ghana Armed Forces, refund the money of all those 60,000 people. If you don't enlist them… all the blood of these girls shall be on your head," he added.
Meanwhile, the government has disclosed that it will support the burial and funeral arrangements of the six young women who lost their lives during the tragic stampede at El-Wak Stadium.
