The first Redwood Universal Learning Centre has been launched in Dzorwulu, Accra, offering a range of day, after-school and weekend learning programmes for children aged 8-17.

Set up with the aim of preparing children for the global knowledge-based economy, the Redwood Universal Learning Centre helps develop critical skills that provide students with a solid foundation for excellence. The Centre is run by a team of international and local teachers driving global standards and sharing best practice.

Learning programmes include the ‘On-track’ vacation programme for SHS children on the double-track system with a range of core and elective subjects; the ‘Headstart’ after-school progamme focussing on supervised homework, reasoning skills, Maths, English, IGCSE and A-Level tuition. The ‘Lead!’ Saturday programme includes leadership development, study and reasoning skills, supervised homework, IGCSE and A-Level tuition.

“We offer a serene and inspirational setting designed to motivate our students. They have an energising classroom environment and plenty of space for practical STEM exercises, interactive learning, sport and quiet time. Our teachers are genuinely passionate about helping each child achieve” says Carmen Bruce-Annan, Founder of Redwood Universal.
