Rebecca Foundation donates to Kwahu-Atibie Government Hospital

The Rebecca Foundation today brought smiles to the faces of Chiefs and people of Kwahu Atibie when a donation of various hospital equipment were made to the Kwahu-Atibie Government Hospital in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region.

The items which include an incubator and hospital beds were donated by Mrs. Akosua Newman, of the Rebecca Foundation as a swift response to a request by the hospital.

“We are very pleased to contribute to the assurance of good health and proper wellbeing of the people of Kwahu – Atibie and the neighbouring communities who patronize the services of the hospital”, she stated.

According to her, the Rebecca Foundation is happy to bring great value to the people of Kwahu-Atibie and happy to donate to such an important cause.”

She added that, the Rebecca Foundation was hopeful that the equipment will ensure that the provision of adequate healthcare is made accessible to all.

Among the items donated was an instant warmer system, delivery bed, bed side lights, and 5 cartons of hospital gowns.

Other items are 5 hospital beds, patient medical tables, 25 boxes cardinal health hydrocolloid dressing, 16 boxes of dressing charge irrigation trays, size D and size 1 vicryls and surgery drain bags , Iv start kits and Iv secondary sets.

The rest also includes a complete delivery systems and anesthesia super circuit set up packs.

The Head of Administration at the Hospital was grateful that their distress call has been heeded and pledged to ensure that the items are dutifully channeled to their core mandate of saving lives.
