Re: RLG, Mahama exposed

RLG has responded to NPP RLG has responded to NPP

Our attention has been drawn to a publication on Ghanaweb and other news platforms titled “RLG, Mahama exposed” on Friday, 18 November 2016 and attributed to the Policy Advisor to the NPP Campaign Team, Boakye Agyarko to the effect that an amount of GHC949,661,017 has been paid to Rlg Communications Ghana Limited through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) for no work done.

We wish to state that Rlg Communications Ghana Ltd has not received any such amount.

We wish to further state that over the last 4 years, the company has not had any business dealings with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

We therefore demand that either the story be withdrawn and the company apologised to or evidence covering this payment or transaction be provided for further action.

The company is particularly saddened by the conduct of some journalists and their media outlets for ignoring a simply journalistic principle of balance and fairness and went ahead to publish a-one-sided story, ostensibly meant to tarnish the image of the company and its owner, Roland Agambire.

The company will not hesitate to resort to available options to redeem its image in this particular matter.
