The Member of Parliament for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency, Hon Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare has donated ten (10) bags of cement and a packet of roofing sheet to the assemblyman and the elders of Daffiama-Saapari to enable them complete a community-initiated school project located in Saapari, a suburb of Daffiama in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district of the Upper West Region.

The attention of the Member of Parliament was drawn to a story which was published by;

In the published story, an interview was granted to the PTA chairman where he categorically stated that calls were made to both Member of Parliament and DCE but none came to their aid.

While appreciating Ghanaweb for bringing out the issue to our attention, the fact must be stated that the Member of Parliament has never received any appeal from the people on the above subject.

Indeed, this is the first time the issue has been brought to the attention of the Member of Parliament.

However, as a leader who is very much concern of the welfare of the people and especially so when he considers education paramount in the development of the constituency, he has decided to swiftly respond to the call by the people.

As an interim step to support the project, the Member of Parliament has donated ten (10) bags of cement and a packet of roofing sheet to complete the kitchen immediately.

The items were donated today, 27th May 2020 by Isaac Langu on behalf of the Member of Parliament to the Assemblyman and PTA executives.

Also, earlier this month, the Member of Parliament donated an undisclosed amount to the school to help solve the water challenges the school was facing. A mechanised borehole in the school developed a problem before schools were closed down in March this year.

The doors of the Member of Parliament remain opened and people are encouraged to always communicate to him using the right channels to have such problems solved.

Thank you.
