A former Campaign Manager for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, has described former President Rawlings as a man at his political crossroads.
Dr. Arthur Kennedy, who is a lecturer at the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast, is asking the former president to take a decision on where he belongs within the political sphere in order to restore the believe and hope that people once had in him.
He told XYZ News former President John Rawlings seem to be gradually losing credibility.
“He had been with the NDC for the confirmation of President Mahama and for the launch of their manifesto and he has had a very cordial meeting with Nana Akufo-Addo, which appeared to be a tacit endorsement of his candidacy and then he was with his wife in Kumasi over the last weekend. People are not clear what he is trying to do,” he said.
He described the recent persona of the former president as dazzling and conflicting, which is a sharp departure from the certainty and clarity that once defined Mr Rawlings.
Dr. Kennedy urged the former president to clearly state his stand in order to protect his legacy.
