Rawlings Brands NPP Leaders As Terrorists

The former President, Flt Jerry John Rawlings, threw political decorum to the wind and told NDC supporters that the present corp. of NPP leadership are terrorists who have caused the death of many innocent people since they assumed office.

He did not spare a section of the Press either, accusing them of unjustifiable criticism of his administration. Speaking to leaders, supporters and well wishers, of the NDC during a stop over on a campaign tour that took him to certain parts of the Northern and Upper regions, the former President reiterated his claim that it was the Kufour administration that masterminded the murder of over 34 women in the country. The political rally that took place at the Kumasi cultural center, saw the Ex-President at his elements pouring and hurling invectives at the Kufour administration.

He said, the (NPP) has totally failed Ghanaians by failing to honour their campaign promises which the manipulated to win the 2002 general election and added that, the cash and carry system which the Kufour administration promised the masses to discontinue has not been abolished. According to the former President the Vat which was strongly criticised by the (NPP) is now their source of funding. He insisted that, those ministers who masterminded the serial killing of the innocent women could be identified when a chemical as well as polygraph test is conducted on fifteen members of Kufour’s cabinet and maintained that is the only way the truth can be unveiled.

He made it clear that, the NDC will do everything possible to ensure that, those ministers are dealt with in accordance with the law. According to him, the NPP’s so called positive change is now a negative one to the chagrin of the good people of this country since parents cannot pay school fees of their wards, neither their rent, water and electricity bills and added that the national economy is now a complete wreck.
