Rattray Park top management sacked

Information reaching Ultimatefmonline.com indicates that top management of Kumasi’s biggest recreational center Rattray Park have been sacked.

The Manager of the Park Kwame Asamoah Mensah and the I.T Manager Carlos Sakyi Ntow were kicked out in September, 2017 following the alleged missing pendrive containing operating software for the dancing fountain and other issues.

The management had been working since the leadership of the former Mayor Kojo Bonsu who has been accused of inflating the amount of the construction of the park.

According to our deep throat sources, the then manager who has been interdicted until investigations are done has been paid only half of his September salary whiles that of October and November are in arrears.

It is also alleged that the stolen acoustic dancing fountain’s pendrive was cooked up contrary to earlier media reports months ago.

The CCTV camera which would have helped the police in arresting the supposed suspect who stole the pendrive is also not functional.

Hopes of finding the ‘thief/thieves’ of the missing pendrive have also been dashed as the CCTV camera in the control room and other parts of the park are said to be non-functional.

The new management, Ultimatefmonline.com understands are making frantic efforts to defray the huge accumulated cost owed the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
