Randy Abbey will never become GFA President - Kennedy Agyapong

Maverick politician, Kennedy Agyapong has sworn by his life that it would be over his dead body that former Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Randy Abbey will become the President of the football administration body.

He threatened to release some shocking details of Randy Abbey if he dares makes such a move indicating that he allegedly played the role resulting in the current woes of the banned GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Speaking in an interview with UTV monitored by MyNewsGh.com he vowed to do all within his power to ensure that Randy Abbey does not achieve his dream of leading the GFA in whatever capacity he desires.

“Randy Abbey is part of it. I am not afraid of him. I am daring him to utter a word and see what will happen to him in this country. I will expose them with pictures and videos. He will never get the opportunity to be GFA President unless I am dead. Go and tell him that this is the resolution of Kennedy Agyapong”, he threatened.

Mr. Kennedy Agyapong invoked curses on all those who contributed in various ways to bring down Kwesi Nyantakyi and his administration. “God will reward all of them one after the other. If it is good you will receive it and if bad so be it”, he disclosed.

Last week Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi in his first public interview alleged some members of the GFA conspired with ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to bring down his administration with the infamous undercover piece dubbed ‘Number 12?

Anas and his TigerEye PI team aired an explosive documentary on corruption in Ghana football.

The video, among other things, captured then GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi accepting cash gifts from an Emirate”Sheikh”, in clear breach of FIFA’s Code of Ethics.

In a telephone interview with Accra-based Oman FM, Nyantakyi claims Anas did not carry out the investigation in the interest of the public but rather in fulfilment of the interests of his “haters” at the GFA who he claims sponsored Anas’ work.

“Anas demanded $150,000 from me to shelve the video. He was even demanding 400,000 dollars because the project is a sponsored project.

“The people at the GFA who didn’t like me paid $400,000 for Anas to do that [to me],” he said.

It is the first time Nyantakyi has spoken since the Number 12 documentary, and he did not mince words comparing Anas’ investigative firm, TigerEye PI as a “criminal organisation which operates like ISIS.”
