REPAIR THESE ROADS

Drivers plying the Wioso-Behwe junction and Nyinamponase-Domeabra roads in the Asante Akyem District have petitioned the MP for Asante Akyem North, Mr.. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, to ensure that feeder roads leading to food growing areas are put in good shape. The petition, signed by the Odikro of Behwe and two others, complained that for sometime now two of the only six vehicles plying the Wioso-Behwe junction and Nyinamponase-Domeabra roads have withdrawn their services because of the poor state of the feeder roads. They said last month's heavy rains have rendered the roads in the area unmotorable thus making life difficult for the people in the area. They appealed to the government and the District Assembly to take urgent measures to repair the roads to facilitate the transportation of foodstuffs to the marketing centres. End
