Some traders doing business on a walkway over the Odaw drain at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, in Accra, despite the health hazards––the filth and the pungent stench from the drain. The drain is choked with garbage while most of the squatters around the area, especially the Neoplan lorry park, have turned it into their place of convenience. Yet, this is the area where a lot of food vendors prepare and sell their food to the numerous travellers who use the Neoplan and the adjacent Kaneshie trotro stations. The health of the public is definitely at stake unless something is done about the situation immediately.
