President John Mahama is expected to meet the British Prime Minister today on his third day in the UK.
The President has met with the William Hague, a senior member of the British government responsible for promoting British interests abroad and with oversight responsibility for the British Intelligence Service.
Details of the closed-door meeting were not disclosed to the media, but they were supposed to focus on regional security issues, including the Malian situation and the trouble in the Sahelian Region.
Trade Minister Haruna Idrissu and Foreign Affairs Minister Hannah Tetteh were part of the government delegation that participated in the session.
