Prez Mahama is a bad example for the youth – Kabila

A Former National Youth Organiser of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has slighted President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as the worst President ‘under the fourth republic’.

James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly known as ‘Kabila’ said ever since President Mahama assumed the seat of government everything has come to a standstill.

According to him, he thought the country needed a youthful, innovative person but stressed President Mahama has defeated that purpose.

“President Mahama has defeated an idea I once had…I thought we needed a younger person; I even advocated for a youthful president. But if I am to compare the heads of state for this fourth republic, President Mahama has made a bad case for the youth,” Kabila said.

He told Kwami Sefa Kayi during a panel discussion on ‘Kokrokoo’ that “under this fourth republic; I place John Agyekum Kufuor as first, followed by Jerry John Rawlings, next comes John Evans Atta Mills, John Dramani Mahama will be last."

He added that one would have thought President Mahama, being someone hailing from the North, will make the lives of people from that part of the country even better but “no President has been so unreservedly wicked to the people of the north like President Mahama has done. The things he lined up for people of Northern descent to be beneficiaries of, have all gone down the drain; GYEEDA, SADA, and so on…”
