Miss Gizella Yajzi, an Arab woman of Iraqi descent, yesterday caused another wave of seismic shock, when she told a radio station that President John Agyekum Kufuor was not her lover, and that she had not slept with him as reported in a section of the media.
Yajzi, who is a mother of two grown-up children, a son and a daughter also, cheekily gave the President of Ghana 24 hours to quit office, or else...
Gizella was speaking to Radio Gold's James Agyenim Boateng, yesterday, in reaction to a statement issued from the Office of the President, denying any involvement of President Kufuor in the Saoud hotel saga.
She indicated that she has been happily married for the past two years, but kept listeners guessing whether she has twin boys Phillip and John by the President of Ghana, as the media has frequently speculated.
"If I say I had intimate relationship with him, it doesn't mean I slept with him (President)", she told her stunned listeners, just a day after she was interviewed on an Accra based radio station on Tuesday, that she had intimate relationship with the President.
"I want Kufuor to prove to the contrary that I'm a liar" she charged, adding that, "I never said he was my lover. I said I had a personal relationship." Asked whether, indeed, she had two sons (twins) by the President, she said "I wouldn't want to draw my children into politics, because I'm not discussing private life."
She dismissed the suggestion that the intimate relationship she claimed she had with the President was an amorous one. "I'm not a whore. I'm a lady. If they want to sell their newspapers, they should go out, and ask the President about the hotel.
This is not the issue," an agitated Yajzi said. She directed joyfm to withdraw the suggestion that she's a whore, otherwise, as she put it, "they are going to regret it, because they are going to be sued."
She stated that what is at stake is not a discussion about private life, nor is it about who is going out with whom.
"The issue is, who bought the hotel?", she quizzed in along distance telephone call from Florida, where incidentally Dr Anane's mistress, Alexander O'Brien, is also based.
"I am going to sue Mr Yeboah for $5million. I have never been a blackmailer", she shouted into the telephone.
