President Mills Leaves for Nigeria

Accra, June 19, GNA - President John Atta Mills left Accra on Friday for a state visit to Nigeria during which he will attend the ECOWAS Summit and the Summit of Heads of State of the West African Monitory Zone.

He was accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Mumuni, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and Dr. Kwabena Dufuor, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.

Vice President John Dramani Mahama, ministers, the Chief of Defence Staff, Major-General Augustine Blay, and the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Paul Quaye Tawiah, were at the airport to see him off. President Mills is expected back on June 23.
