President John Dramani Mahama has reflected on his return to office as he marked his first Christmas with Ghanaians since coming back to power.
In a post shared on social media on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, he expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the trust placed in his leadership and renewing his commitment to resetting the country’s development agenda.
"It's my first Christmas with you, as your come-back President and I am filled with gratitude for the trust you have placed in my government," he noted.
President Mahama said the season offers a moment to pause, give thanks and draw inspiration from the hope it represents, even as his administration works to revive the economy, complete stalled projects and expand critical infrastructure.

He noted that the Resetting Ghana agenda remains central to efforts aimed at delivering inclusive growth, job creation, accountability and shared prosperity.
"We are committed to the #ResettingGhana Agenda to position Ghana on a path of inclusive growth, job creation, accountability, and prosperity", President Mahama stated.
He also called for collective effort and national unity, stressing that building a Ghana that works for every citizen requires the active participation of all.

He encouraged Ghanaians to remain hopeful and resilient as the country prepares to enter a new year.
