President Approves Board Of Directors For Divestiture Implementation Committee

President Kuffour has approved new board of directors for the Divesture Implementation Committee (DIC) to be chaired by the Minister for Finance, Yaw Osafo Marfo. The members of the board include the Executive Secretary of DIC, Poku-Adjoin; Secretary General of TUC, Adu Amankwah; the Executive Secretary of Lands Commission; the Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku and Dr. George Manu of EMPRETEC.

The rest are Gloria Akuffo, deputy Attorney General; Minister for Manpower Development and Employment, Mrs. Cecilia Bannerman; Frank Ocran, Executive Chairman, State Enterprises Commission and J. A. Wiredu a management accountant.

And in a related development, a public relations and management consultant, Esther Dzifa Ofori has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Trade Fair Company.

A statement signed by the government spokesperson on media relations, Elizabeth Ohene also named Abel Adusei as CEO of the Ghana National Procurement Agency, Nana Dr. Baah Boakye Principal, Accra Polytechnic as CEO of the National Board for Small Scale industries, Edward Collins Boateng for the Ghana Export Promotion Council and Timothy Kwabena Obeng for the export development and investment fund.

The President has also appointed Daniel Bartels-Kodwo as the acting Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Company. He is currently the Marketing Manager of the company.
