President Akufo-Addo ends two-day visit to Western North Region

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ended his two-day working visit to the Western North Region (WNR) after inspecting and cutting sod for social intervention projects.

The President during the two days, inspected the on-going Bibiani Health College projects, the site for the new offices of the WNR Coordinating Council, the Essam Warehouse project, Juaboso town roads and the upgraded district health facility at Dadieso in the Shaman district.

There was also a durbar at Sefwi-Wiawso, where the chiefs and people crowned and presented him a stool by name "Okukudurnyi Osieadieyo".
The creation of the New Region according to the President was not a political talk or for votes, but a means to facilitate development in the area.

The President officially cut the tape for the new district hospital at Dadieso to end his visit in the WNR and move to the Ahafo region to begin another leg of his regional tours, where he is expected to visit Sankore, Kukuom, Mim, Goaso, Hwidiem in the Asunafo North and South and Asutifi South Constituencies.

He would proceed on Saturday 13th April to Kenyasi, Tanoso, Yamfo, Duayaw Nkwanta and Bechem also in the Asutifi North and Tano North and South constituencies respectively.

Whilst there, the President will inspect a 1D1F project in Tanoso, visit the site for the construction of the Regional Coordinating Council at Goaso, the regional capital, and hold Town Hall meetings with the opinion leaders, identifiable groups as well as Chiefs and people of the areas.
